Set a nonnegative distance in metres within which repair may join nearby surface vertices, or Automatic. Excessive welding can erase an intended narrow gap; inspect the repaired surface.

Using the value

Edit the Import feature, choose Build All Geometry, then inspect the imported dimensions, domains and any repair diagnostics before meshing.

Troubleshooting

Check file availability, actual format and source scale first. Repair may change geometry; inspect small features and part boundaries rather than accepting a completed import alone.
