Position Y

Add this global y translation after the imported coordinates have been scaled.

Add this global y translation after the imported coordinates have been scaled.

Location

Geometry workspace → Import → Position Y

Initial value: 0[m].

Units: m. Enter a compatible quantity.

Add this global y translation after the imported coordinates have been scaled. It is an offset, not the imported object's bounding-box center. Use metres or compatible length units.

Using the value

Edit the Import feature, choose Build All Geometry, then inspect the imported dimensions, domains and any repair diagnostics before meshing.

Troubleshooting

Check file availability, actual format and source scale first. Repair may change geometry; inspect small features and part boundaries rather than accepting a completed import alone.
