CAD healing tolerance

Set the nonnegative length tolerance for optional CAD healing, or Automatic to use the import's scale-dependent tolerance.

Set the nonnegative length tolerance for optional CAD healing, or Automatic to use the import's scale-dependent tolerance.

Location

Geometry workspace → Import → CAD healing tolerance

Initial value: Automatic.

Set the nonnegative length tolerance for optional CAD healing, or Automatic to use the import's scale-dependent tolerance. Start small and inspect intentional small details after repair.

Using the value

Edit the Import feature, choose Build All Geometry, then inspect the imported dimensions, domains and any repair diagnostics before meshing.

Troubleshooting

Check file availability, actual format and source scale first. Repair may change geometry; inspect small features and part boundaries rather than accepting a completed import alone.
