Geometry workspace; System → Geometry

How to use it

Select the profile, axis and revolution angle, then inspect the completed geometry. Choose Build All Geometry to update Graphics.

ObjectsCircle Profile 1Select earlier planar profiles by label or a named selection; comma or semicolon separates labels. These inputs are profiles, not existing three-dimensional solids. Check the selected profiles and their work planes before building.
Angle360[deg]Set the sweep magnitude around the chosen axis. The current build takes the absolute value, so a negative angle does not reverse the sweep. Unitless values are radians; use 90[deg] for a quarter turn or 360[deg] for a full turn.
Axis Point X0[m]Set the global x coordinate of a point on the revolution axis in metres or compatible units. Axis X/Y/Z specify its direction; this point sets its position relative to the profile.
Axis Point Y0[m]Set the global y coordinate of a point on the revolution axis in metres or compatible units. Axis X/Y/Z specify its direction; this point sets its position relative to the profile.
Axis Point Z0[m]Set the global z coordinate of a point on the revolution axis in metres or compatible units. Axis X/Y/Z specify its direction; this point sets its position relative to the profile.
Axis X0Set the dimensionless x component of the rotation axis through Axis Point X/Y/Z. The three components are normalized, so their magnitude does not change the object size. Use a nonzero vector; a zero vector currently falls back to global +z.
Axis Y1Set the dimensionless y component of the rotation axis through Axis Point X/Y/Z. The three components are normalized, so their magnitude does not change the object size. Use a nonzero vector; a zero vector currently falls back to global +z.
Axis Z0Set the dimensionless z component of the rotation axis through Axis Point X/Y/Z. The three components are normalized, so their magnitude does not change the object size. Use a nonzero vector; a zero vector currently falls back to global +z.

Result

Built solids and their selectable entities appear in Graphics.

Troubleshooting

A profile crossing the axis can produce an invalid or unexpected solid.
