CAD sew faces

When CAD healing is On, allow compatible faces to be sewn into connected shells.

When CAD healing is On, allow compatible faces to be sewn into connected shells.

Location

Geometry workspace → Import → CAD sew faces

Initial value: On.

When CAD healing is On, allow compatible faces to be sewn into connected shells. A connected shell is not by itself proof of a valid closed solid; inspect the import result.

Using the value

Edit the Import feature, choose Build All Geometry, then inspect the imported dimensions, domains and any repair diagnostics before meshing.

Troubleshooting

Check file availability, actual format and source scale first. Repair may change geometry; inspect small features and part boundaries rather than accepting a completed import alone.
