Strict validates the imported surface without choosing a repair treatment. Solidify as one domain, Repair preserving parts and Reconstruct assembly domains can change the geometry or domain partition. Choose deliberately and inspect the repaired shape, parts and diagnostics before meshing.

Using the value

Edit the Import feature, choose Build All Geometry, then inspect the imported dimensions, domains and any repair diagnostics before meshing.

Troubleshooting

Check file availability, actual format and source scale first. Repair may change geometry; inspect small features and part boundaries rather than accepting a completed import alone.
