Minor radius

Set the tube radius, not the outer radius of the ring.

Location

Geometry workspace → Torus → Minor radius

Initial value: 0.2[m].

Units: m. Enter a compatible quantity.

Set the tube radius, not the outer radius of the ring. Keep it smaller than Major radius. Use a positive length in metres or compatible units, such as 10[mm].

Using the value

Set the dimensions and placement, then choose Build All Geometry. Inspect the built shape before assigning domains or generating a mesh.

Troubleshooting

Check radius versus diameter, units, Origin and axis direction. With tilted primitives, prefer Center and explicit coordinates rather than assuming Corner follows the rotated bounding box.
