Top radius

Set the radius of the end in the positive axis direction.

Set the radius of the end in the positive axis direction.

Location

Geometry workspace → Cone → Top radius

Initial value: 0.2[m].

Units: m. Enter a compatible quantity.

Set the radius of the end in the positive axis direction. Zero makes that end a tip; at least one end radius must be positive. Use a nonnegative length in metres or compatible units, such as 10[mm].

Using the value

Set the dimensions and placement, then choose Build All Geometry. Inspect the built shape before assigning domains or generating a mesh.

Troubleshooting

Check radius versus diameter, units, Origin and axis direction. With tilted primitives, prefer Center and explicit coordinates rather than assuming Corner follows the rotated bounding box.
