This finite positive dimensionless Netgen edge-resolution parameter can be fractional; it is not an exact integer element count on every edge.

Using the value

Increase edge resolution when important short edges remain poorly represented, then inspect the built mesh.

Troubleshooting

Zero, negative and non-finite values are rejected. Also check the size limits and whether the intended geometric edge exists.
