Close edges

Enable or disable additional Netgen sizing for closely spaced edges.

Location

Mesh → Free Tetrahedral → Size → Close edges

Initial value: false.

When false, the close-edge factor is omitted from Netgen so that a stored factor cannot silently enable this sizing rule. When true, Close edge factor controls the rule.

Using the value

Enable it when nearby geometric edges need additional resolution and inspect the resulting mesh.

Troubleshooting

Accepts a boolean value. If changing the factor has no effect, check that Close edges is enabled.
