Control Netgen resolution along geometric edges.

Mesh → Swept / Mapped → Size → Segments per edge

Initial value: 1.

This finite positive dimensionless Netgen edge-resolution parameter can be fractional; it is not an exact integer element count on every edge. These Netgen controls do not change the supported structured box-meshing path; use its size and through-thickness controls instead.

Using the value

Increase edge resolution when important short edges remain poorly represented, then inspect the built mesh.

Troubleshooting

Zero, negative and non-finite values are rejected. Also check the size limits and whether the intended geometric edge exists.
