Curvature safety

Control Netgen sizing around curved geometry.

Initial value: 2.

Use a finite positive dimensionless Netgen curvature-resolution parameter. Finer presets increase it to provide more resolution around curvature; it is not a radius or a length. These Netgen controls do not change the supported structured box-meshing path; use its size and through-thickness controls instead.

Using the value

Increase curvature resolution when curved boundaries are poorly represented and compare the rebuilt surface mesh.

Troubleshooting

Zero, negative and non-finite values are rejected. A finer curvature setting cannot repair an invalid CAD surface.
