Selection

Choose the edges associated with Distribution.

Location

Mesh → Distribution → Selection

Initial value: all.

all selects the applicable edges; otherwise use a named selection or the selection editor. In the supported structured meshing path the count contributes a global minimum-edge sizing constraint, not an exact edge-by-edge distribution.

Using the value

Select the intended edges, inspect their highlight and choose Build Mesh; for solution-driven adaptation, run the supported study.

Troubleshooting

An empty or outdated selection can miss the intended geometry. Check the entity dimension and do not infer local refinement merely from a stored selection.
