Elements

Provide a fallback count for the Distribution sizing constraint.

Initial value: 8.

In the supported structured meshing path, Elements is a fallback used only when Minimum through-thickness elements is empty or cannot be read as a finite number. The normal initial through-thickness value takes precedence, so changing Elements alone may have no effect. This is a global minimum-edge constraint, not an exact count on each selected edge.

Using the value

Prefer setting Minimum through-thickness elements explicitly and inspect the resulting mesh.

Troubleshooting

If changing Elements does nothing, check the overriding through-thickness value. Distribution alone is not a volume generator.
