Choose the mesh-generation backend, not the study linear solver.

Initial value: Netgen (Python).

Netgen (Python) generates the tetrahedral mesh used by solution-driven adaptation. Choose a backend supported by your geometry; this setting does not select a GPU solver.

Using the value

Choose an available backend and rebuild the mesh; keep Netgen (Python) for solution-driven adaptation.

Troubleshooting

If the backend is unavailable, check its installation and geometry support. Inspect the completed mesh and meshing messages.
