Selection

Choose the domains associated with Refinement.

Location

Mesh → Refinement → Selection

Initial value: all.

all selects the applicable domains; otherwise use a named selection or the selection editor. In the supported structured meshing path Refinement factor rescales the global maximum size; Selection is not a local refinement mask.

Using the value

Select the intended domains, inspect their highlight and choose Build Mesh; for solution-driven adaptation, run the supported study.

Troubleshooting

An empty or outdated selection can miss the intended geometry. Check the entity dimension and do not infer local refinement merely from a stored selection.
