Calculate how the model evolves over a time interval from its initial state.

System Solver workspace → Transient

How to use it

Choose Transient, then select the new or existing feature in Model Builder. Set Start time, Stop time and Time step, choose the time solver, then run and inspect multiple saved times in Results.

Result

Successful runs provide solution data for plots, tables and evaluations in Results.

Troubleshooting

Reduce the time step to check temporal accuracy. An output interval is not by itself a guarantee that fast dynamics are resolved.
