Use the elastic properties resolved from Materials assignments on the selected domains.

Materials → assigned material; System → Structural Mechanics → Domain Model

Initial value: Resolved from Materials assignments.

Assign a material in Materials to the selected domains with Young's modulus E and Poisson ratio nu. This reference is resolved from Materials assignments, not an editable Material dropdown on Linear Elastic Material. Inspect the resolved material and its selection under Domain Model. If compatible assignments are ambiguous, use separate material domain nodes with non-overlapping selections.

Using the value

Review the material properties and domain highlight in Materials, then inspect the resolved assignment before running the study.

Troubleshooting

If no material is assigned, add a compatible material with the required properties on the intended domains; do not replace missing properties with zero.
