Frequency Domain

Calculate the harmonic response at one or more excitation frequencies.

Calculate the harmonic response at one or more excitation frequencies.

Where to find it

System Solver workspace; Model Builder → System Solvers

How to use it

Enter Frequencies with frequency units and configure harmonic inputs or an operating point where applicable. Choose Run System Solver, then select the completed solution under Results.

Settings and initial values

SettingInitial value
Frequencies1[kHz]
Input valuesOpen the setting for its individual values.
Operating pointOpen the setting for its individual values.
Maximum frequency points256

Result

Successful runs provide solution data for plots, tables and evaluations in Results.

Troubleshooting

Only compatible physics can participate. Inspect amplitude and phase; a frequency response is not a transient waveform.
