Extrude

Turn a planar profile into a solid by extending it along a direction.

Where to find it

Geometry workspace → Extrude

How to use it

Choose Extrude, then select the new or existing feature in Model Builder. Select the profile and set the extrusion distance before building the geometry.

Result

Built solids and their selectable entities appear in Graphics.

Troubleshooting

An invalid or open profile may not produce a solid; fix the outline before increasing the mesh resolution.
