Momentum balance

Understand the `Momentum balance` governing equation when choosing an objective optimization for Structural Mechanics.

This relationship describes part of the physical problem being optimized:

\nabla\!\cdot\boldsymbol{\sigma}+\mathbf F=\rho\left(\ddot{\mathbf u}+2\boldsymbol{\Omega}\times\dot{\mathbf u}+\dot{\boldsymbol{\Omega}}\times\mathbf r+\boldsymbol{\Omega}\times(\boldsymbol{\Omega}\times\mathbf r)+\mathbf a_0\right)

Check the variables, signs and units against your intended model. The objective and constraints must use quantities available in the selected study; this equation page does not create a separate editable model feature.
